This monochrome take on the Air Presto marks the second time Virgil Abloh and Nike have collaborated on this iconic silhouette. The July 2018 iteration came just a few months after its two-tone predecessor made its debut as part of Abloh and Nike’s ‘The Ten’ collection. This pair features an all-black finish, accented with unique touches including a plastic tie, a white Swoosh with bold zig-zag stitching, and script lines on the mid-quarter panel that allude to the shoe’s Beaverton origins.

Released in July 2019, the Air Max 97 ‘Reflective Bred’ reimagines Christian Tresser’s famous running shoe with hi-vis details and a well-known hardwood colourway. Inspired by a bullet train, the wavy upper is highlighted with reflective strips and branding on the tongue that stands out in low light, making this a Nike shoe with 24/7 versatility. The two pull loops make it easy to get on and off, while the tumbled leather fender stands up to everyday wear and tear.

Released in October 2019, the Nike Wmns Air Force 1 Shadow ‘Pale Ivory’ celebrates women as forces of change with a collage of pastel colours. The multi-chromatic look includes ‘Celestial Gold’ and ‘Tropical Twist’ with a lavender Swoosh logo and midfoot panel. Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 classic is treated to a duplicate motif, including double overlays, Nike branding and a taller foam midsole for additional cushioning. Underneath, the pivot point’s rubber traction is hollowed out to reduce weight.

Released in Nikelab stores in September 2017, the Off-White x Air VaporMax was part of Virgil Abloh’s 10-pair collaboration with Nike and quickly became one of the most coveted sneakers of the year. The design features a Black Flyknit upper with an oversized Swoosh with White stitching, Orange accents, and a full-length blacked-out Air VaporMax sole. The shoe also features a throwback tongue and the collection’s quote motif can be found on the laces and side panels.
