To celebrate his exhibit that premiered at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in June 2019, Virgil Abloh partnered with Nike once again to produce a Nike Air Force 1. The Off-White x Air Force 1 Low ’07 Shoe. MCA’ features a varsity blue leather upper and a metallic silver Swoosh with prominent stitching and a signature red tag. For a full circle feel, the shoe harkens back to key design details from previous Off-White offerings, including the iconic zip tie and quoted branding.

Designed by Virgil Abloh, the Off-White x Air Force 1 Low ’07 ‘MoMA’ was unveiled at Art Basel Miami Beach 2016. In January 2018, MoMA exclusively sold the sneaker to celebrate its ‘Items: Is Fashion Modern?’ exposition. The design features a metallic Swoosh on the black leather upper, an orange tag, a translucent zip tie, and white lettering on the side panel. A chunky foam tongue, white laces with black “SHOELACES” branding, and a black midsole with white “AIR” branding complete the look.
